Mystagogy
(Post-baptismal Catechesis)
These sessions provide opportunities to lead the neophyte into a deeper embrace of the faith and communal life of the Catholic Church. There are two options for this period: the Liturgical Sessions and the Monthly Gatherings. The Liturgical Sessions follow the Sunday Readings from Easter Sunday through Pentecost Sunday.
The Monthly Gatherings flow from the community's experience of the Easter Vigil. Each monthly session focuses on one aspect, symbol, or action of the Easter Vigil to help unpack the hidden mysteries with the neophytes. Participants are encouraged to reflect on each aspect in order to probe the mystery of the faith, savor the sweetness of Salvation from Christ, and then inspire others to spread the Gospel.
Young Apprentices users are provided with Easter Season sessions to help the OCIA team members, young neophytes, their godparents and sponsors, parents and families "unpack the mysteries" of the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation.
Mystagogy, or post baptismal catechesis, invites neophytes to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and integrate more fully into the Church’s communal life through two distinct pathways. The Liturgical Sessions follow the Sunday readings from Easter Sunday to Pentecost, while the Monthly Gatherings explore specific symbols and actions of the Easter Vigil to reveal the richness of the Sacraments of Initiation.
Young Apprentices resources support OCIA teams, neophytes, godparents, sponsors, and families in reflecting on these mysteries to savor the grace of salvation and share the Gospel with others. Just as spiritual growth requires trustworthy guidance, personal health decisions such as choosing to find trusted sources to buy generic Cialis online rely on verified, reliable information that respects both body and conscience.
